Leading South Wales legal eagles Peter Lynn and Partners have announced the appointment of three lawyers as the firm shows continuing expansion.
On the back of PL&P opening their sixth office in Ystradgynlais the firm is delighted to have appointed solicitor Mayda Thomas, legal executive Samantha Kiley and trainee solicitor Gregg George.
“I am delighted to welcome on board these new members of staff to our team which further highlights our continued growth as a leading south Wales law firm,” said Senior Partner Peter Lynn.
“The three appointments just go to reflect our growth in both size and reputation as a diverse legal practice packed full of expertise.’’
Mayda, who is a fluent Welsh speaker, qualified as a solicitor in 1984 and has practised in firms both in Llanelli and Swansea for more than 20 years, specialising in residential conveyancing and wills.
She has run her own conveyancing department in a number of firms and has also lectured law in both the former Swansea Institute of Higher Education and more recently at Swansea University.
Samantha specialises in wills, powers of attorney, elderly client work and Court of Protection matters. Her extensive knowledge and expertise in wills and probate makes Samantha a vital member of the PL&P team.
She is a member of the Dementia Support Forum, a Swansea-based voluntary organisation which has been set up to raise awareness of dementia and create a dementia-friendly society.
Welsh speaker Gregg specialises in residential conveyancing, and works in the wills and probate department at the new Ystradgynlais office.
Away from the office, Gregg is a semi-professional rugby player for Bridgend RFC, and besides his success in law, he also counts achieving an international cap at age grade level for Wales as one of his greatest achievements.
