Football, fun and fundraising all in the name of Maggie’s Cancer Centre
The local business community gathered in their masses to show their support for local charity Maggie’s Cancer Centre.
As well as raising an incredible £2,000 for the cancer charity, the raffle showcased some amazing prizes including a once in a lifetime experience for any Swansea City F.C. fan. Donated by leading Swansea-based legal firm Peter Lynn & Partners along with a selection of other raffle prizes, the lucky winners were set to enjoy full hospitality for two at a Swansea City game of their choice.
Peter Lynn, senior partner at Peter Lynn and Partners, said: “An incredible sum was raised for Maggie’s, a truly inspirational charity that has helped thousands of people affected by cancer throughout the local area and beyond. We were delighted to supply the prize and a fun day out for the winners.’’
Carole Lee & Paul Sisk scooped the coveted prize and recently watched the Swans romp to a 3-0 victory against Norwich City.
The local couple added: “We were blown away when we were announced winners of the prize, and have since enjoyed an unforgettable day at Liberty Stadium, courtesy of Peter Lynn and Partners. Witnessing the 3-0 result was also fantastic!”
