Gowerton RFC Girls team gains its first official sponsor
Leading legal firm Peter Lynn & Partners has showed yet more community spirit after announcing its sponsorship of the under-15s Gowerton RFC Girls team.
The team was founded just this year and after a chance meeting at their latest training session the Swansea-based legal eagles have pledged their support.
Gowerton RFC Girls team has grown week on week since their first training session in April 2014 and now has a 20 members. With leadership from head coach Dave Graham-Woolard and assistant coach Andrew Daniel, the team is set to take the junior league by storm.
“The team came about this year because my daughter wanted to play rugby but didn’t know of a local girls team. Word soon spread and by the end of the day there were 15 girls interested in playing rugby,” said team manager Ceri Daniel.
“We are delighted to be the first sponsor of Gowerton RFC Girls, myself and the rest of the staff at Peter Lynn & Partners look forward to showing our support throughout the forthcoming season,” said Peter Lynn, partner at the established legal firm.
Ceri added: “We are thrilled Peter is supporting us, the girls are very excited and looking forward to showing off their new rugby skills in their brand new kit.”
