Law Firm Presented With Thankyou Gift by Charity
As a thank you for recent fundraising activity and sponsorship support, Tŷ Hafan has presented Peter Lynn and Partners with a unique gift to recognise their efforts.
Presented by Corporate Partnership Manager Sorrel Mayo, the wheelchair art is a unique piece created by the children at the charity’s hospice in Sully, Vale of Glamorgan.
“A large sheet of paper is laid out on the floor,” explained Sorrel, “and coloured paint is poured over it and, much to the children’s delight, they move their wheelchairs across the paint resulting in completely unique, colourful artwork.”
The presentation is recognition for the work undertaken so far by the law-firm who have chosen Tŷ Hafan as their ‘charity of choice’ for 2019/20.
To date, the firm has raised over £6.5k from a golf day, have supported the hospice’s trip to Eurodisney, Three Peak Challenge as well as contributing several auction prizes for dinners and fundraising events.
Senior Partner, Peter Lynn commented, “having visited Tŷ Hafan to see the wonderful work they do for life-limited children and their families, we were only too happy to select them as our charity of choice.”
“We intend to raise as much money as possible”, continued Peter, “and while we did not expect any recognition, it is a touching gift and one that will have pride of place in our boardroom.”
