South Wales law firm Peter Lynn and Partners have renewed their sponsorship of the Swansea Cricket Festival.
The festival, which is organised by St Helen’s Balconiers (the Glamorgan Cricket Supporters Club) and is supported by Swansea Council and Swansea RFC will see Glamorgan partake in five days of first class cricket.
Between Sunday 31st July and Saturday 6th August, the Glamorgan County Cricket team will be in Swansea to play one Royal London One-Day Cup 50 over game and one four-day LV County Championship game, against Hampshire and Northamptonshire respectively.
Peter Lynn, Senior Partner at the Law Firm commented “We are delighted to be sponsoring the Festival for another year as we believe that it is important for a sporting hotbed such as Swansea to continue to have a first-class cricket presence in the city”.
The renewal follows a successful 2015 festival where the leading law firm also sponsored three sets of covers. John Williams, Chairman of the St Helen’s Balconiers commented “Peter has been a patron of the festival for a number of years and we re truly grateful for his continued support as headline sponsor”.
Mr Williams continued “last years contribution of 3 cricket covers has gone a long way to maintain a first-class facility at St Helens which allows us to keep county level cricket in West Wales”.
