Local solicitors support Christmas lights switch on
Established south Wales solicitors firm Peter Lynn & Partners are proud to be supporters of the Christmas lights switch on in Mumbles again.
PL&P, who have an office in Newton Road, Mumbles, are looking forward to the special switch on event on Thursday, November 20th at 7pm to be conducted by two Wales captains – Swansea City’s Ashley Williams and Ospreys’ Alun Wyn Jones.
“Once again it is a pleasure to support the Mumbles Christmas lights switch on,” said senior partner Peter Lynn.
“It always a special time of the year and I always think the Mumbles event signals the start of the countdown to Christmas, and as well as that the event exudes a real community feel throughout the village.”
Added Peter: “As an avid sports fan I’m particularly looking forward to this year what with Ashley Williams and Alun Wyn Jones conducting the switch on.”
Mumbles Traders Association, in conjunction with shops and businesses, has arranged to have Newton Road closed from the White Rose to Oystermouth Primary School between 5pm and 10pm.
There will be a Santa’s Grotto at Maureen Cottey’s Florist from 5.30pm as well as a food and craft market along Newton Road.
Carousel rides will be located both ends of Newton Road and there will be music courtesy of Samba Tawe and The Contenders.
After the official switch the two captains will be signing autographs and be available for photographs which is followed by a firework display.
