Peter Lynn and Partners Celebrates a Decade as Swansea City’s Official Legal Partner
Peter Lynn and Partners Solicitors is celebrating ten consecutive seasons as the Official Legal Partner of Swansea City AFC, marking a decade of a partnership that has supported the club through some significant developments both on and off the pitch.
The Swansea-based law firm became the Swans’ Official Legal Partner in 2017, building on a relationship with the club that stretches back more than 20 years. Since then, Peter Lynn and Partners has provided legal advice across a range of matters, while maintaining a strong presence at the Swansea.com Stadium and within the wider Swansea City community.
That relationship has included major moments in the club’s development. Peter Lynn and Partners assisted Swansea City with the legal aspects of securing the long-term lease of the stadium, which saw the club take full operational control in 2018. More recently, the firm has been advising the Swans on the legal aspects of the proposed purchase of the stadium from Swansea Council, following the council’s approval of the sale in July 2026.
Senior Partner Peter Lynn said, “Ten seasons as Official Legal Partner is a milestone we are incredibly proud of, particularly when you consider how much has happened at Swansea City during that time.”
“Our relationship with the club goes back even further, and we have had the privilege of supporting them on some important legal matters. From helping with the long-term lease of the stadium to our more recent involvement in the proposed purchase from Swansea Council, it is a relationship that has developed considerably over the years,” he continued.
The tenth season arrives at an exciting time for Swansea City. Luka Modrić joined the ownership group in April 2025, followed by Snoop Dogg that summer and Martha Stewart later in the year, bringing three internationally recognised names into a new-look ownership structure with ambitions to grow the club both commercially and on the pitch.
Peter added, “There is a real sense of ambition around the club at the moment. The involvement of Luka Modrić, Snoop Dogg and Martha Stewart has brought international attention to Swansea City, while the move towards owning the stadium outright represents another significant step for the club.”
“As supporters, we would obviously love to see all of that momentum eventually lead to a return to the Premier League. Nobody underestimates how difficult that is, but there is plenty happening around the club to feel positive about,” he reflected.
The renewed partnership will see Peter Lynn and Partners retain its presence throughout the Swansea.com Stadium, including the naming rights to the Peter Lynn & Partners Lounge in the West Stand. The firm will also welcome clients and guests from its own executive box throughout the 2026/27 season.
Swansea City Head of Partnerships Lee Merrells said, “Reaching ten seasons together is a fantastic milestone and says a great deal about the relationship between Swansea City and Peter Lynn and Partners.”
“They are a Swansea business with strong roots in the city, but more importantly, they have been a trusted legal partner to the club for many years. We are delighted to continue the partnership and look forward to working together as the club enters another exciting period,” he continued.
For Peter Lynn and Partners, which has nine offices across South Wales, the relationship remains one of the firm’s longest-standing commercial partnerships and one that reflects its commitment to supporting businesses, organisations and communities across the region.
Peter concluded, “We have seen the club experience some incredible highs and some challenging periods over the years, and we have always been proud to stand alongside them. Ten years is something worth celebrating, but hopefully there are many more to come. We are excited about where Swansea City is heading, and we are looking forward to being part of the journey.”
