South Wales solicitor gives support to Tŷ Hafan hospice
Peter Lynn & Partners are delighted to announce that they will be donating around £5,000 to their chosen 2015 charity, Tŷ Hafan this year.
Tŷ Hafan is one of the UK’s leading paediatric palliative care charities and offers care to children and support for their families, throughout Wales.
Senior partner Peter Lynn was recently invited to have a tour of Tŷ Hafan, near Barry – a visit he found truly inspiring.
“I was so impressed by the facilities and the staff at Tŷ Hafan, and I was truly overwhelmed by the generosity of spirit of staff,” revealed Peter Lynn, Senior Partner at PL&P.
“But by the same token I was deeply saddened that such resources are not government funded as a necessity, and I am determined to help them all I can.
“It’s a crying shame this facility is the only one of its kind in south Wales but we should also thank our lucky stars we have it.”
Tŷ Hafan offers essential services and treatments to the most vulnerable children and their families at a time of deep shock trauma and need.
“We have so far donated £2k and hopefully that will raise to £5k by end of financial year,” added Peter.
“We also support all local events and charity dinners held in Swansea where they are the main benefiting charity.”
