Staff at leading law firm don their Christmas jumpers to raise funds for children’s charities

Written by Peter Lynn

Swansea-based legal practice Peter Lynn and Partners held a festive-inspired appeal to show their support for two children’s charities.
Employees at the firm enjoyed some festive fun at little earlier this year and wore their favourite Christmas jumpers to work on Friday 13th December to raise money. All funds will be donated to international children’s charity Save the Children and local charity Francesca’s Appeal.
Save the Children works across 120 countries to save the lives of children in poverty. Founded by Eglantyne Jebb in 1919, the charity has been safeguarding children for almost a century and has worked with a series of high-profile celebrities and companies to inspire change around the globe.
The second cause to benefit from Peter Lynn and Partners’ festive fundraiser is Francesca’s Appeal, a charity that aims to raise funds for five-year-old Francesca Pryde from Swansea. Francesca has cerebral palsy and needed to travel to the US for medical treatment to help her walk.
Peter Lynn, senior partner at Peter Lynn and Partners, said, ‘We are delighted to support Save the Children and Francesca’s Appeal. It was a fun day but it reminded us of those less fortunate than ourselves.’’
